As for pricing, the AWD EX90 starts at around €117,910 for the Twin Motor and €122,910 for the Twin Motor Performance. Pre-orders are open, allowing customers to configure their vehicles for delivery in quarter three of 2024. Volvo introduces a flexible ownership approach, where buyers can choose between purchasing, leasing, or subscription.

Software-Driven Experience

The EX90 is the first Volvo truly defined by its software. Collaborations with tech giants Nvidia and Qualcomm, along with in-house software development, a much needed overhaul from the ageing existing systems. Core functions—safety, infotainment, and battery management all receive continuous over-the-air updates.

Safety First

Safety remains a Volvo hallmark. The EX90 features Pilot Assist driver-assist systems and lays the groundwork for future autonomous driving capabilities. Equipped with cameras, radar, sensors, and lidar, the SUV is hardware-ready for unsupervised driving. For now, it assists with acceleration, braking, lane changes, and collision avoidance.
