The Carole Nash Historic Festival is one of the top classic Motorsport events of the year in Mondello Park and this year they’ve also announced their partnership with the Porsche Centre Dublin. The festival is an annual celebration of all things motoring showcasing a huge range of racing categories from Pre War & Pre 55’s to F1 Demos, Guards, Future Classics, as well as demos of Grand Prix Motorbikes. Among many celebrations of Motorsport in Ireland the Historic Festival is one of the finest motor racing celebrations on offer spanning five decades of Motorsports with vintage, classic and race cars all on site, it’s an incredible day out which enthusiasts of all ranges and ages can take part in.
It’s a wonderful weekend for fans to dress up and soak in the atmosphere of past times and feel a part of a fantastic historic Motorsport celebration. Audiences can expect to experience the action up close with live races showcasing the skill of drivers in some truly incredible machines. The adrenaline of watching competitors in vintage and classic vehicles is second to none, races across the weekend include The Irish International Grand Prix Trophy, The Dublin Grand Prix Trophy, St. Brigid’s Trophy and the Birrane Perpetual Trophy.
The racing doesn’t end with just cars, there will also be a selection of Grand Prix motorbike displays on track throughout the weekend to keep things lit.
As this year brings with it a special partnership, visitors will also get a close up look at a superb lineup of new Porsches from the Cayenne Turbo GT, 911 Targa, Cayman T as well as the much hyped and exclusive 75-year anniversary commemoration Taycan. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without including a legendary classic 911 lineup.
The action isn’t just limited to on-track, in-between races there will be plenty of off-track entertainment with a vintage funfair, games, food pop-ups, fairground rides, face painting and surprises.
