2023 is packed with an incredible lineup of refreshes and new launches for Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes have plenty in the pipeline for 2023, mostly refreshes in the SUVs for the GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE and GLS. The CLA coupe will also feature in the upcoming mid life updates with a new rear diffuser and paint options (Hyper Blue and Spectral Blue). Mostly Mercedes will be introducing new styling elements, mild-hybrid assistance for certain powertrains and updated user interfaces for the interior. Models where chrome was used extensively will see elements replaced with darker trim as well as new wheel options. The level of standard equipment will also increase with packages getting add ons such as parking packages etc. Plug in hybrid models will see an improvement in range.

The first new arrivals will come in the form of the new EQE SUV following on from the success of the EQE saloon, around 120 of which have already been registered in Ireland.

Finally towards the end of the year in the executive-class segment we’ll get to see the all new 11th gen E-Class saloon and also the 3-door CLE Coupé. The new E-Class comes with a hi-tech interior and efficient hybrid powertrains. Power comes from an assortment of four- and six-cylinder engines, some mild hybrids, and others part of a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The AMG E63 no longer has a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 and instead uses a straight-six with an electric motor producing around 700 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque. With this brings a weight increase and much of it will be used to move that extra mass.

Amalgamating the C Class and E Class coupes , the CLE will be launched by the end of the year. This new two-plus-two coupé will take its styling from the existing E Class coupe. The dashboard and trim come from the latest C-Class with separate digital instrument and infotainment displays.

All in all a very busy year for Mercedes Benz in Ireland.
