Skoda Enyaq iV RS | Industry News

Skoda’s Enyaq is the brands first hot electric RS model. The new Coupé will sit at the top of the iV line-up with exclusive design elements on the exterior and interior.

The RS will only be available on the coupe body shape and comes with Skoda’s illuminated front grille and 20” alloy wheels as standard. Other standard equipment includes Matrix LED headlights, keyless entry and start, a heated steering wheel and three-zone climate control.

Inside, the ‘RS Suite’ interior design package includes perforated black leather upholstery with Carbon fibre-effect trim, aluminium pedals and sports seats.

Powering the Enyaq Coupe iV RS is a dual-motor setup, one mounted on each axle, which together produce 295bhp. Sprinting from 0-100 km/h takes 6.5 seconds – about the same as a petrol-powered Skoda Octavia RS.

The Enyaq Coupe is expected to have around 500 km range. The extra power of the RS model will reduce that figure. Fast-charging allows quick top up from 0-80% in 30 minutes. An 11kW home wallbox will fill the battery in under eight hours and 7kW’s will take a lot longer.
