Dacia Adds Sleep Packs & Extreme Trims

You might go camping a few times a year and instead of going through the effort of having to book a camper way in advance and then hoping the weather is good, you could take a look at the options available which would mean you can take off when the weather looks good and not have to plan too much in advance.

One of the options Dacia have just launched is the Sleep Pack for the Jogger. You can quickly and easily convert the three-row family car into a little camper by adapting the passenger space into sleeping quarters in a matter of minutes. The entire package (with mattress) weighs less than 50 kilograms. By removing the rear seats and folding the second row, you can slide in the Sleep Pack conversion.

What you get is a double bed and not only that but you get a wooden box with 220 litres of storage accessible at all times.  It takes less than two minutes to install the bed, shelf, and storage space.

Dacia have also launched a new Extreme trim for the Sandero Stepway, Jogger and Duster. This trim comes in Cedar Green paint with Copper Brown mirror caps, wheel centres, Dacia tailgate logo and roof bar emblems. The Sandero Stepway and Jogger also feature Copper Brown details for the front fog lights. All models come with Brilliant Black alloy wheels – 16” on Sandero Stepway and Jogger, 17” on Duster – as well as a Brilliant Black shark fin antenna.

Both the Sandero Stepway Extreme and Jogger Extreme come with Extended Grip as standard. Easily accessible via a button on the centre console, it adjusts the electronic stability control settings for a gain in traction on loose surfaces, helping drivers venture further off the beaten track.

There’s no Irish pricing just yet but in France the package costs €1,490 when you order a new car regardless of trim level or €1,790 when bought separately. Dacia Ireland hope to have the packs available by May
