Peugeot Inception Concept | Industry News

Peugeot’s track record, when it comes to delivering gorgeous concept cars, has proven more and more inspiring. Starting with the e-Legend concept, we’re left in no doubt as to just how much Peugeot believes in a strong design identity that’s not just functional but hot blooded too.

The Inception Concept will focus on sustainability, like many manufacturers, Peugeot is more and more interested in sustainable materials. On the outside the concept car shows us just how much Peugeot plans to differentiate itself from its Stellantis relatives. While Peugeot will be bringing across the successful ’Tiger-claw’ design which has appeared across the current Peugeot range and on the all-electric e-Legend concept, they will be taking the rest of the company in a very futuristic direction.

The Inception Concept revealed this morning at CES is all-wheel drive and will have around 680 hp (500 kilowatts) which will get to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. There won’t be much of the estimated 800 kms range left of you do that too many times in a row.

In addition, their incoming technologies and features have been revealed in the Inception. Peugeot have overhauled the cabin and with that comes the next-generation i-Cockpit. Peugeot has redesigned available interior space as well as adding driving gestures to the i-Cockpit technology.

Peugeot wants to become Europe’s leading electric brand by 2030 and invisions most of the concept’s innovations will make it to production by 2025.
