Dacia Launch New 7 Seat Jogger | Industry News

The new for 2022 Dacia Jogger sits in a league of its own in the van-based MPVs – the Citroën e-Berlingo, Peugeot e-Rifter and Vauxhall Combo-e Life – are electric vehicles. For families on a budget needing more than a 300km real-world range, the Jogger may be the only non electric option for those who need the range and don’t have charging available.

All-New Jogger is available exclusively with 7-seats and in three trim levels – Essential, Comfort, and Extreme SE and is offered with just two options – metallic paint and a spare wheel.

The Jogger is powered by Dacia’s new TCe 110 1.0-litre three-cylinder direct injection turbocharged petrol engine developing 110hp and 200Nm of torque at 2,900rpm. It uses variable valve timing, a variable displacement oil pump, an integrated exhaust manifold, and a particulate filter to achieve impressive performance while reducing fuel consumption (5.7 – 6.0 l/100km WLTP combined) and CO2 emissions (132g/km).

Launch prices start at €23,290 until the end of May 2022, after which all models will increase by €900.

Trim levels start at Essential which includes manual air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, height- and reach-adjustable steering wheel, automatic headlights, front fog lights, electric front windows, Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEBS), and Media Control that places the smartphone at the centre of the infotainment experience.

The Jogger Comfort starts at €25,090 and adds modular roof rails, body-colour door handles, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, automatic wipers, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera and clever 16-inch steel wheels that replicate the appearance of alloy wheels but are cheaper to replace.

The Comfort model also has electric rear windows and one-touch operation on the front, electric parking brake, keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, blind spot warning, and Dacia’s 8-inch Media Display system with two USB ports and smartphone mirroring, including both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.

The special edition Extreme SE starts at €26,590 and has 16-inch alloy wheels in a black finish, black roof bars and door mirrors, plus additional exterior styling. The interior, meanwhile, gains heated front seats, special floor and cargo mats, and Dacia’s Media Nav system with built-in navigation and wireless smartphone mirroring.
