Mustang Mach-E to arrive in Ireland by Summer 2021

The Mach-E definitely caught everyone’s interest when it was announced, not just for the name alone but for the fact that it’s not a muscle car but an SUV.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E will start from €50,000 in Ireland and should be arriving here by summer 2021.

It will have 600kms of range and be capable of fast charging up to 150 kW. They justified the name by giving it a 0-100km/h time of just under 5 seconds & up to 830 Nm of torque.

Ford suggests fuel savings of up to €1,5570.60 a year is possible and with fewer moving parts, servicing costs should also be reduced. Three versions will be available starting with the base €50k Mach-E, add AWD and the price starts at €65k and then the top of the range and currently sold out €75k First Edition. All will come with a panoramic sunroof, the top two will have All Wheel Drive, plus a host of on-board technology including Ford’s next-gen SYNC with machine learning, cloud connectivity, Phone As A Key, and Ford’s latest assisted driving features. Drive modes offered on the SUV are Whisper, Active and Untamed.
